The ISS (In Service Support) game is developed in order to communicate basic knowledge concerning maintenance services provided by Thales to users of the Thales made equipment such as radar and Command & Control suite as well as explain maintenance concepts in general. The game introduces certain terms, mechanics, processes and maintenance concepts. Playing the game acts thus as an introduction to subsequent talks or negotiations with (potential) clients. Alternatively, the ISS game can be used as a promotional tool.
